For the majority of December of 2013, my roommates and I could be found sitting at our living room window watching cars try to rev their way out of this one specific, icy spot down on the street below. One night, a car was stuck in that parking spot, so a friend drove up to tow that person out. That friend's car died as it was towing the first car, so a third car was brought out to jump start/tow both of these cars. There were about twelve guys outside helping. My roommates and I sat at our window laughing, and laughing, and laughing.

Seriously. We loved that icy spot. Hours of entertainment.

Anyways, everyone was either pushing, towing, or helping to jump start the first car. Then, there's Isaac...eating a granola bar...hood on...waving his hand...guiding incoming cars around the jam (which was arguably, pretty self-explanatory). And there it was, my first impression of my future husband.

Isaac and I met on January 6, 2014 in our Chem 105 class at BYU. On the first day of winter classes, he recognized me, because we went to the same church. He came in and sat next to me, asked my name, and I asked his.

I totally already knew his name.

After that, we never went a day without seeing each other. Some of our first dates included froyo (obviously), playing basketball, movies, and the library (he was too scared to ask me out at first-library on a Friday night...just soak that in). He was just as goofy as I was and I loved being around him. Plus, he was on the rugby team, so that was attractive. We started officially dating on February 11, 2014.

One weekend, we went ice skating with some friends. We played soccer with a group of little boys on the indoor field at the rink while we waited for the public skate to open. Isaac introduced himseld and then turned to me and said, "This is Kiely, she's the most beautiful girl you'll ever meet."

My heart stopped. That was the moment I realized I wanted to be his wife.

Isaac popped the question in San Francisco on August 7, 2014 (my 20th birthday). I was completely surprised. I, of course, said yes. Although, I never technically said "yes" because I was happy sobbing.

We were married on May 9th, 2015 in the Oakland California LDS temple. Nothing has brought me more happiness than living life with him.
